Bridging Courses

Who is eligible to apply?

Any current Level 2 or above accredited coach from any scheme.

How do I know which module I need to take?
You simply look below and see which course suits your current situation. This will then tell you how long your course should be and how much it will cost.

You will fill in a course application form and attend the course as normal. You will be provided with a complete learner programme which will cover the content of the new Level 2 Qualification, minus anything you have already covered in your previous course.
 
A level 2 EBCS accredited Coach will need to undertake a 3½ day course plus their assessment. (Cost £200)

•    Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults (reduced from full course)
•    Equality and Diversity in Coaching Bowls
•    Sports Science including Bowls Ballistics
•    Warm ups, cool downs and exercises to support Bowls
•    Treatment and Management of Injury
•    Diet and Nutrition
•    Drugs in Bowls
•    Venue Risk Assessment
•    Coaching Session Plans
•    Bowls Technical Information (reduced from full course)
•    Types of Shot (reduced from full course)
•    Decision Making, Communication and Tactical Activities.
 
A level 3 EBCS accredited Coach will need to undertake a 1½ day course plus their assessment. (Cost £180)
