New Safeguarding Awareness Module – February 4th

This Module is recommended for Coaches, Club Officers and Volunteers

This module can be used as a stand-alone introduction to safeguarding in Bowls or as a precursor to further training prior to attending other courses. The module focuses on understand safeguarding adults and children, and particularly those who may be at risk.

The Module has been designed for anyone new to safeguarding or anyone who wants to gain more knowledge in the position they hold at their club.  It covers the essential information you need to know relating to safeguarding in bowls, how to recognise abuse, respond and report appropriately when a concern is raised. It is interactive and includes scenarios to help you understand and learn about keeping people safe.
