The qualification helps coaches to effectively PLAN and Deliver series of structured sessions to bowlers from beginners to competitive club players. It puts the bowler at the centre of all developments and concentrates on how to get the best from your bowlers. This qualification is delivered in partnership with 1st 4 Sport Qualifications (Awarding Body) and gives an externally accredited Nationally recognised qualification (regulated by OfQual). It is the only Nationally Recognised Level One Qualification for the sport of Bowls in England and is wholly supported by Bowls England, EIBA Ltd, BCGBA and ESMBA.

You must have already received your Level 1 coaching qualification
· Learners must be at least 15 years of age to attend the course however you will not certified until you are 16 years old.
· Full engagement and participation in the course is essential to achieve the qualification.
· For each of the online modules, please can you ensure that you log on to the course at least 15minutes prior to the start time (once you are on and we have made sure your tech is working you can go and grab a cuppa until we start!) to allow the course to run smoothly.
· You will be required to complete some tasks off course in between the days
On the day, please ensure you have available:
· Proof of Identification (such as a photo card driving license, passport, work ID card) notebook and pen to take notes. (You can request a hard copy of the 1st4Sport qualification resource if needed)
· You will also need to a submit via e mail a suitable passport photo (which will be used for your Coach Bowls membership card) prior to module 2.
· Full engagement and participation in the course is essential to achieve the qualification.

To make the most of your course experience, it is important that you understand that, in registering for a course, you are committing to a set of standards and behaviours to ensure you achieve your qualification and experience a positive learning environment. Please refer to the ‘Learner Contract’ document which accompanies the course booking email. Your course tutor will ask you to sign a statement during your course to confirm your commitment to achieving the qualification. To ensure smooth running of the course and that all course content is covered, please allow sufficient time to arrive / log on to the course ahead of the start time, taking into account any traffic disruptions for practical days. We appreciate that incidents and accidents will occur which may disrupt your journey, however to ensure you and all the other learners achieve a positive learning experience, anyone later than 30 minutes will not be able to complete the qualification. If you are running late, please contact the office on the number above so that we can inform the course tutor(s). If you are experiencing any difficulty and are unable to attend, please contact adam@coachbowls.org informing Coach Bowls of the situation immediately.
Please note our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. If you are experiencing an issue with your course and your course is taking place during office hours, please contact 07458 301497 so that we can assist you. If your course is taking place on a weekend are you are experiencing an issue, please contact us and leave a message and we will call you back. The out of office hours number will only be available on weekends to deal with course issues only for courses taking place on the same weekend. For all other enquiries, please contact the office during working hours.
If you cancel within 7 days or fail to attend the course without good reason (at the sole discretion of Coach Bowls), the full fee will apply.
If you cancel within 14 days of the qualification then 50% of cost will be returned to you
