Kent – Adult Safeguarding In Bowls & Officer Training – Sold Out

On behalf of Active Kent and Medway, Coach Bowls is holding face/face safeguarding day.

We will be looking to run Adult Safeguarding in Bowls in the morning and the new Officer Training in the afternoon.

We will run the course at a special price for the whole day £55.00.

Part 1 – Adult Safeguarding in Bowls

This module is aimed at those clubs who have predominately adult only members.

This module can be used as a stand-alone introduction to safeguarding adults in Bowls or as a precursor to further training prior to attending other courses. The module focuses on understand safeguarding adults, and particularly those adults who may be at risk.

Part 2 – Safeguarding Officer Training

This new 4 hour module covers all the information that any club Safeguarding Officer may need to help them fulfil this vital role in their club. It includes some basic safeguarding awareness for both adults and children, along with how to make a club a safer place for everyone, roles and responsibilities and highlights help and support. This course replaces the old ‘Time to Listen’ course which focussed purely on children.
